Driving Directions
Rent a car and drive from Fethiye towards Ölüdeniz and Faralya.
The road is scenic but can be steep and winding as you approach Kabak.

You can take a taxi from Fethiye, Ölüdeniz, or our festival shuttle from Dalaman Airport for a more comfortable journey.
Dolmuş services run from Fethiye to Kabak Bay multiple times a day.
The last stop is at the top of the hill, and from there, you may need to walk or take a shuttle to the beach.
If you enjoy hiking, you can take the Lycian Way from Ölüdeniz or Faralya to reach Kabak Bay.
The trail offers breathtaking coastal views, but it can be challenging in hot weather.
Take an intercity bus to Fethiye Bus Station from major cities like Istanbul, Ankara, or Izmir.
From Fethiye Bus Station, board a dolmuş (minibus) to Faralya or Kabak Bay.
The nearest airport to Kabak Bay is Dalaman Airport (DLM).
From the airport, you can take a shuttle bus or private transfer to Fethiye.

For adventurous souls, reaching Kabak Bay via the Lycian Way is an unforgettable journey. This ancient trade and pilgrimage route, dating back over 2,000 years, once connected the great cities of Lycia. Today, it offers hikers breathtaking views of the Mediterranean coastline, pine forests, and rugged cliffs, making the trek to Kabak Bay a truly immersive experience in nature.
Your trek begins in Faralya, a charming hillside village perched above Butterfly Valley. From here, follow the marked Lycian Way trail as it winds through rocky paths, shaded pine groves, and open ridges with sweeping sea views. The descent to Kabak Bay is around 3-4 km and takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. The trail is moderate to challenging, featuring steep descents, loose gravel, and occasional narrow sections that require careful footing.
As you walk, you’ll pass through ancient olive groves and wild herb fields, catching glimpses of the azure waters far below. The final stretch leads you through a dense forest before opening up to the stunning crescent-shaped bay, where the festival awaits.

● Wear sturdy hiking shoes for better grip on uneven terrain. ● Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and a hat to stay protected. ● Download an offline map, as mobile signal is weak. ● Start your trek early to avoid the midday heat and enjoy cooler conditions.

Currently, there are 3 EV charging stations in Turan Hill, Kabak.
Other than that, the nearest EV charging points can be found in Fethiye, so plan accordingly and charge your vehicle before heading towards Kabak Bay.
The closest gas stations are located in Ölüdeniz (about 15 km away) and Fethiye (about 30 km away).
If you're driving to Kabak, it's best to fill up your tank before leaving Fethiye since there are no gas stations in Faralya or Kabak.

● Faralya does not have a pharmacy, so if you need medication or first-aid supplies, it’s best to buy them in Ölüdeniz or Fethiye before heading to Kabak.
● The largest selection of pharmacies is in Fethiye (around 30 km away), where you’ll find multiple options with longer opening hours and a wider range of medicines.
● If you need urgent medical assistance, Fethiye State Hospital and private clinics are the nearest healthcare facilities.
⚠️ Tip: Pharmacies in Turkey are called "eczane", and most are open Monday to Saturday (9:00 AM - 7:00 PM). On Sundays, only a few "duty pharmacies" (nöbetçi eczane) remain open, so it’s good to check in advance.
Make sure to carry any essential medications, painkillers, or first-aid supplies with you, as access is limited in Kabak Bay.

On the way to Kabak (Fethiye → Ölüdeniz → Faralya), you’ll find various cafés, local restaurants, and markets offering traditional Turkish food, fresh seafood, and snacks.
In Faralya, some guesthouses and eco-lodges have small restaurants open to visitors.

● The closest small grocery stores and local markets are in Faralya, about 4 km from Kabak. They sell basic food supplies, bottled water, and personal essentials.
● For larger supermarkets and shopping, head to Fethiye.
● The most convenient shopping area is in Fethiye, around Ölüdeniz or Hisarönü, where you’ll find Migros, Carrefour, Şok, and Bim supermarkets.
Coffee Shops & Bakeries:
● Faralya has a few small coffee spots attached to lodges.
● Kabak Bay has bohemian-style beach cafés with organic coffee, herbal teas, and homemade treats.
